But over all, I'm grateful for

The Earth!

  

        The earth houses all creatures including humans. Without the Earth there would be no humans, no rockets, no electricity, no imagination, no rain, nothing! The earth supplies us with resources we need to invent all of the amazing thing we're grateful for. The Earth is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I hope you all agree.

        The reason I'm grateful for calculators today is because They help with schoolwork. Today I had a really hard math problem and without my calculator, it would've taken forever to get that question done. I'm very grateful for calculators!

Today I'm grateful for mountains!

   Things Mountains do

* They are home to many creatures including humans

* They stop certain weather like tornados

* The are like giant funnels that bring water to a lot of places*

* They are beautiful

 

        The reason I'm grateful for mountains today is because I live on one. If there was no mountains I would not live where I do and I might not be as happy anywhere else. People that live in mountains should be extra grateful for them. I'm SUPER grateful for mountains!

Today I'm grateful for my house!

 

 

   Things houses do:

* They are shelter from heat, cold, wind, snow, rain, sleet, and hail 

* They are meeting places where families can get together.

 

        The reason I'm grateful for houses today is because they serve as meeting places for families. I'm grateful for this because every Thanksgiving my whole family comes to my parents' house and we have our Thanksgiving dinner. Without a house we would not be able to get together and do that. I'm very grateful for houses.

        The reason I'm grateful for rainbows today is becuse they bring joy. Have you ever looked at a rainbow and just felt happy? Well that's what happened to me today. I saw a beautiful rainbow and I was happy the rest of the day. I'm so grateful for rainbows!

                              Today I'm grateful for cameras!

                                

   Things cameras do:

* They make entertainment
* They capture memories
* They can be jobs

        The reason I'm grateful for cameras today is because of two things, one, they capture memories, and two, they make entertainment. I combined these two things to make an entertaining slideshow of my two birds. It was fun to make and it has a lot of memories in it. I'll post a link to it as soon as I can, but I'm very grateful for cameras.

        The reason I'm grateful for movies is they entertained me today. I was very, very, very, VERY, very bored today. hen when I watched a movie I had my share of entertainment for the day and I'm feeling very good now.

                                Today I'm grateful for cookies!

                 

        Things cookies do:
   They keep kids happy
   They keep people happy
   They're a nice snack to have
   
          The reason I'm grateful for cookies today is actually NONE of these reasons. The reason I did not list it is because hardly anyone uses cookies this way. I was part of a fundraising project and I did a bake sale to earn money. Without cookies I wouldn't have been able to help out in the project. Cookies helped improve lives for people because I used them this way.

                                Today I'm grateful for my N640!

               

   Things my N64 does:
* It entertains me
* It might help me make a difference by convincing Nintendo to bring N64 back

        The reason I'm grateful for my N64 today is because of the first reason I mentioned, it entertains me. This post will be VERY close to the post I made about my Wii and some what close to the post on my DS. Because all it really does is entertain me.... and entertain me... and.... Well you know the rest! But just because it mainly only entertains me, doesn't mean I'm not very grateful for it. I'm SUPER grateful for my N64.

        Pencils are wonderful!

* They help us record what happens in our day
* They help us remember things like recipes and to go to the store
* They can be used for art
* They're used for education

        The reason that I'm grateful for pencils today is that they are used for art. I absolutely love to draw and without pencils I wouldn't be able to. I'm so glad that I have pencils so I can do what I love!

                                Today I'm grateful for the rain!

             

        Rain is COOL!

   Things rain does:
* Waters plants 
* Gives us our water supply
* It's beautiful
* And it entertains kids!

        A specific reason that I'm grateful for rain is how beautiful it is. Just the way it glitters on the plants and makes such a soothing sound when it falls on my roof. I absolutely love it when it rains!

FYI: I'm trying out different styles of writing what I'm grateful for to make it take up a little less time. I might switch back to long passages eventually though.

                                  Today I'm grateful for trees!
            

        Trees are wonderful! When you actually THINK about what trees do for you it's really amazing! Think about it... When you go outside on a sunny day and sit in the shade reading a good book and just enjoying yourself, well I'm guessing the shade is most likely from a tree, which makes the first reason that trees are great is, shade. Let's think again... You're taking a nice relaxing walk on a trail through the forest and you're enjoying the sounds of the animals and the birds, you're also not over-heating because the whole trail is shaded, well once again you owe this to trees, one they make the forest, two they make it possible for animals to live there, and three again the shade would not be there without the trees. So now we've counted quite a few things that trees do for us, but now I want to go over the SUPER reason. Of course you can live without a forest nearby or shade, but if there was no trees there wouldn't be enough oxygen to live off in the air! Now that's crazy! So hopefully next time you sit under your favorite tree or go and take a walk in the forest, you think of how special trees really are.

                        Today I'm grateful for imaginations!   

        Imagination is amazing! All of the inventions in the world owe their existence to imagination! Parents lives depend on imagination! Entertainment like books and movies also originated from imagination! 
        You probably don't know WHY imagination is so important ,well, I'll explain. First, famous people that invented things like the light bulb, car, TV, or computer needed to THINK of the idea first, which means they had crazy imaginations that produced these ideas and without them there would be no light bulb, car, TV, or computer. Second, parents would most likely literally DIE if their kids didn't have imagination to keep them occupied. Finally, most entertainment for anybody wouldn't exist without imagination, this also pertains to the FIRST reason with the "inventing" part, so that's already mostly taken care of. But I think you can see how important imagination is now... Well at least I hope so.  ;)

                                Today I'm grateful for beds!
                
         Beds are wonderful! OK, so if you think about it, life would be a LOT less awesome at night without beds, I mean imagine if you had yo sleep on the tile, or whatever flooring you have, OUCH! When you wake up, think of how much your back would hurt, but I guess if you were used to sleepin without then it wouldn't be at bad. But imagine it like this, you wake up one morning, you go and eat your breakfast, go back to your room to get dressed and YOUR BED'S GONE!!! What are you going to do? You just ordered the beds online, but they won't get here until Thursday, which is 3 days away! You also have a huge hard day at work today and you want to come home to your nice plush bed, BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A BED! You think, "OK, I'm not a baby, so I'll go and get the padding out of my storage." Well, you get to your storage and all the padding is gone! What are you going to do?!
        OK, I could go on and on with that story, but you can do that yourself. So back to the point, it would become annoying to deal with work if you didn't have a bed. I'm SO glad that I have a bed!

                       Today I'm grateful for my bedroom!

       My room is the COOLEST it can get! I'm so lucky that I have my own room. It is very small, but it's the best room ever because it's mine! I can find a LOT of flaws with my room, but every flaw can be thrown aside by thinking, "Hey! I've got my own room!" Now I'm not saying people that share rooms are super unlucky and their lives are terrible, because I know that anyone can find something good about it.
        Some of the good thing about having my own room is if I were to invite a friend over, we could actually hang out in my room, I don't have to wait to go to bed for the other person to turn off their light, and it's full of stuff I like. I'm so happy I have my own room!

                          Today I'm grateful for my rabbit!

        I LOVE my rabbit! He's so cute and cuddly! I just adore him! He doesn't really do much or me, but he's still my friend. I love to be around him because he petting him just makes me feel a lot more happy. He's loves me too, because whenever I open the door to his hutch he comes hopping over looking for some loves. It's so cool to have my own rabbit.

                        Today I'm grateful for doctors!

                                            

        Doctors are AMAZING! Although being a doctor wouldn't be at the top of my career list, they can some pretty cool things. Some people may think, "Doctors don't do anything, they just take the money and the credit that the NURSES deserve!"Well, if you think like this, there's no need to freak out because this is to selebrate surgeons, doctors, and nurses.  But in this section I'll be referring to them all mainly as "Doctors"

        Back to the point, doctors haven't really helped me too much, but I know that they do a LOT of good things for other people. Like brain surgeons, they can work miracles and save the happiness for a bunch of people. Doctors, well, doctors refer to a lot of different types, so that's a little hard to narrow down. Nurses, they tend to you in the hospital, give you shots, and help you relax before a surgery. As you can see doctors can be totally AWESOME!
